Start with your support stack
If you already use either helpdesk, include migration cost and staff workflow in the decision. If you are starting fresh, list the channels, store integrations, languages, and support actions you require. A long feature list has little value when it does not cover the conversations your customers actually have.
Test answers, actions, and escalation separately
Create questions with answers in your policy, questions with missing information, and requests requiring an order-specific action. Check accuracy first, then verify permissions and identity checks for actions. Finally, confirm that a person receives the conversation with useful context when the agent cannot proceed. This directory has not run that store-level test for either product.
Compare cost at your real conversation volume
Review current pricing definitions, conversation allowances, chargeable resolutions, helpdesk subscriptions, and overage terms. Estimate a normal month and a peak month. Vendor savings claims are not a forecast of your outcome; compare quality, resolved conversations, staff review time, and total cost in a limited pilot.
